In Q2 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing sector on Android saw varied performance across key players. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users.

Yango — different from a taxi started the quarter with approximately 62K downloads and ended with over 53K, showing a slight downtrend. However, weekly active users increased from 158K to 183K. Revenue peaked in late April at 3M USD before dropping to 1M USD by the end of June.

inDrive. Save on city rides, while not generating revenue, maintained a steady influx of new users with downloads peaking at nearly 61K in early June. Weekly active users showed growth, starting at 659K and rising to 706K by the quarter's end.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a moderate increase in downloads, from around 13K to over 16K, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at a high of 319K.

Uber - Request a ride saw a decrease in downloads from 11K to 9K, yet the number of active users remained robust, hovering around 800K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Cabify observed a dip in downloads, from 8K to under 6K, with a corresponding decline in weekly active users, dropping from 153K to 146K.
